Publisher Modiphius is advancing the timeline for the Star Trek Adventures RPG and turning its focus towards one of the franchise’s most iconic eras. The 24th Century Campaign Guide is a new GM-focused supplement that dives deep into the period featured in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. It’s a time dominated by the Borg, the Dominion War and of course, Captain Jean-Luc Picard. The supplement is also a follow-up to the STA 23rd Century Campaign Guide, which came out early last year and was focused on the original Star Trek series as well as the Discovery and Strange New Worlds shows.
This new campaign guide is slated for release in December 2026 in both hardcover and PDF, but you can pre-order it now from your local game store and Modiphius.

The 24th Century Campaign Guide is a complete sourcebook for Star Trek Adventures Second Edition. Like other major STA releases, however, it is fully compatible with both first-edition rules and the Captain’s Log Solo RPG.
The new campaign guide includes:
- New lore: Detailed historical background covering key periods of the 24th century, mapping out the political shifts, technological leaps and major conflicts defining the century.
- New character options: Fresh choices for the lifepath character generation system, including four new options for the Environment phase, a new “Vigilante” career path option, 14 new career events and seven new character talents.
- New starship rules: Six new starship talents and rules to help tailor vessels to the unique challenges of the era.
- Updated player and GM Guidance: Extensive advice for roleplaying in the 24th century, complete with sample focuses, traits and values, plus new Gamemaster tools for matching campaign structures to specific chronological events.

The hardcover version of the book will retail for $54 USD (not including shipping and handling). A price point for the PDF version has not yet been confirmed, but will likely be around the $28 USD mark (which is what we’ve seen for past STA 2E products on DriveThruRPG).
