Chaosium Unveils New Call of Cthulhu RPG Collector Editions

It’s been over 50 years since Call of Cthulhu was first released, making it one of the oldest TTRPGs outside of Dungeons & Dragons. To celebrate, publisher Chaosium has recently unveiled a series of new Call of Cthulhu Collector Editions, which are available exclusively on their website.

Each of the books is bound in faux leather (not human skin, like you might think) and wouldn’t look out of place on the shelves of the Miskatonic University library. Below, we take a closer at these terrifying new tomes.

What are the new Call of Cthulhu Collector Editions?

There are three separate new Collector Edition products:

How much are the new Call of Cthulhu Collector Editions?

The leatherette Collector Editions of Pulp Cthulhu and The Grand Grimoire of Cthulhu Mythos Magic both retail for $90 USD (not including shipping and handling).

The Collector Edition of Masks of Nyarlathotep, however, will set you back a sanity shattering $249.99 USD (although to be fair, you are getting two books in the set).

Final Thoughts

Over the years, Chaosium has released a number of deluxe hardcover collector editions for the Call of Cthulhu RPG, and this latest batch look to be just as impressive.

If you’re looking to get your tentacles one of of these grizzly grimoires, you can order them now exclusively from the Chaosium website.
