Traveller Breaks the Universe With New “Singularity” Mega-Campaign

First launched as a successful Kickstarter back in early 2025, the Singularity campaign is now available to the general public, with the PDF just released on DriveThruRPG and the boxed set available for pre-order from Mongoose Publishing.

Below, we fire up our jump drives and chart a course for all the details.

What is the Singularity Campaign?

Singularity is a 608-page campaign designed for Traveller 2nd Edition. The material is for Referees only and divided into three separate books:

  • The Singularity Sourcebook: Provides the baseline mechanical framework for the campaign, including maps, starships, specialized equipment, guidelines for running an interstellar cruiseliner and a detailed deep-dive into the area of space known as the Express Boat Network where the majority of the campaign takes place.

  • Act 1: Sylean Dream: The campaign opens in the Imperial Core, where the Travellers serve as the elite crew of the Ventura Fortuna, a luxurious star liner. Here, players must entertain and rub shoulders with interstellar nobility, corporate titans, media stars, and underworld kingpins before crossing paths with Naalir; a mysterious, godlike alien intelligence seeking their help with a reality-altering project.
  • Act 2: Renegade Minds & Act 3: The Glass Council: The stakes are raised as players delve into an ancient interstellar mystery while utilizing advanced technology to project their consciousness into an array of clones, robots and androids. The campaign concludes with an action-packed finale where players use their newfound godlike capabilities to determine the destiny of all sentient life in Charted Space.

When is the Singularity Campaign going to be released?

The PDF was released to the general public on June 23rd via DriveThruRPG. The physical slipcase set, however, is not yet out and will likely be available later this summer (we’ll update this page with an exact date once we know more).

How much is the Singularity Campaign?

The PDF retails for $79.99 USD, which may seem expensive for a digital-only copy, but is actually pretty reasonable when you consider you’re getting three books and over 600 pages of content. The physical slipcase set is retailing for $139.99 USD (not including shipping and handling), which again, is fairly decent considering you’re essentially getting the Traveller version of a Beadle & Grimm’s product.

Why we’re excited about Traveller: Singularity

  • A space opera epic: Moving past the familiar Traveller tropes, Singularity treats players to a multi-world, multi-body experience that feels incredibly different from almost anything we’ve seen before.
  • A high-end product: Mongoose’s Traveller books always look great. But at the same time they’ve never really released anything like Singularity in terms of being a high-end, multi-book box set that clearly has a high level of production polish.
  • Intergalactic consequences: Mongoose isn’t pulling punches with this release and the campaign specifically outlines how your players’ final choices will fundamentally shatter or reshape the status quo of Charted Space forever.

Final Thoughts

Singularity feels like another innovative expansion for the Traveller universe, taking the game’s traditional themes and pairing them with the hard sci-fi concepts of post-humanism and cosmic artificial intelligence.

We’ll be doing a deeper dive once the physical boxed set is released. In the meantime, you can pick up the PDF now DriveThruRPG and pre-order the slipcase from Mongoose Publishing.
