The past few years have been massive for the Starfinder RPG, with Paizo releasing a new edition of the game in the summer of 2025 and a slew of accompanying Starfinder 2E books. Yet, there’s still plenty of galaxy left to explore, with a wide range of supplements and adventures slated for release in the coming months.
Below, we break down the full Starfinder 2E release schedule, listing all the new and upcoming books that have been confirmed by Paizo for the remainder of 2026 and the first half of 2027. For ease of reference, we’ve also included a complete list of all published SF2E titles that have been released over the past year.

New Starfinder 2E books coming in 2026 and 2027
Below are all the SF2E books that have been announced by Paizo and are slated for release in the next few months.
Tech Core
Coming: October 2026
What is it:Â As the name suggests, the new Tech Core supplement is all about the technology side of the Starfinder universe. The book features a range of new equipment, weapons and armor, plus a range of character options, including two new SF2E classes (the Mechanic and Technomancer). It also features brand-new rules for building and running your very own tech companions, along with managing starship upgrades and enhancements.
Beginner Box: Treasures of the Tomb Ship
Coming: May 2027
What is it: The first official Beginner Box for Starfinder 2E, Treasures of the Tomb Ship is designed to teach players and GMs the basics of the game. The set includes dice, pre-generated character sheets, cardboard enemy tokens, rule cards and a complete starter adventure that covers the core pillars of intergalactic exploration, combat and social encounters.
Galactic Arsenals
Coming: August 2027
What is it: Galactic Arsenals adds a ton of new weaponry, armor and combat equipment to the Starfinder 2E ruleset. It also includes new tactical character options, spells, magic items and lore on military factions. Finally, the book adds some much-needed new starship combat rules and weaponry.

Secrets of the Swarm
Published: September 2026
What is it: The second official Adventure Path for Starfinder 2E, Secrets of the Swarm is designed for Level 6 to 10 characters. The AP takes place in the remote Szandite Collective, with players helping the inhabitants of the local systems fend off an invasion from the alien locusts known as the Swarm. In addition to the campaign, the book includes six new alien ancestries, 10 new enemy stat blocks and a gazetteer of little-known region of space.
Absalom Station: Center of the Galaxy
Published: July 2026
What is it: Absalom Station offers a deep dive into one of the most iconic intergalactic ports of call in the SF2E universe. Primarily serving as a gazetteer, it provides an overview of 21 individual districts, along with associated NPCs, factions and alien creatures. The book also includes new character options, including two ancestries and four new archetypes native to the legendary space station.
Tales from the Vast Adventure Anthology
Published: May 2026
What is it: An anthology designed for Level 1 to 9 characters, Tales from the Vast features four standalone adventures that can be run individually or together as a complete campaign. All taking place in the remote part of the galaxy known as The Vast, the adventures cover everything from exploration and horror to survival and action.
Galactic Ancestries
Published: April 2026
What is it:Â Galactic Ancestries is a player-focused sourcebook that introduces a range of alien-themed character options, including 21 new and updated ancestries. The book also features new heritages, spells, equipment and updated rules for creating alien versions of androids.
