How much is Pathfinder Feybound?
The standard hardcover retails for $64.99 USD (not including shipping) while the PDF retails for $29.99 USD, via DriveThruRPG. A Special Edition hardcover will also be released for $89.99 USD. A retail Sketch variant (with a slightly different cover) is also available for $69.99 USD. A pocket edition will also be released several months from now, which retails for $34.99.
Notably, Paizo has recently raised prices on their books due to increase production costs and the continued financial fallout following the Diamond Distributors’ bankruptcy.

What is the First World in Pathfinder lore?
In the Pathfinder cosmology, the First World is a primordial, ever-changing dimension that the gods originally created as a rough prototype before fashioning Golarion and the Material Plane. Because it lacks any kind of true permanence, nothing in the First World is static. This means that rivers change direction at random, the landscapes constantly warp and twist, and strange creatures can spring into life at a moment’s notice. This chaotic realm serves as the native home to all fey, including powerful semi-divine beings known as the Eldest, and is both a beautiful and terrifying reflection of the mortal world of Golarion.
In terms of publication history, the First World has been around since the earliest days of Pathfinder. There have, however, only been a handful of dedicated sourcebooks, including the Fey Revisited supplement from 2013, the First World, Realm of the Fey campaign setting from 2016 and the Legacy of the First World player companion in 2017, all of which were released for Pathfinder First Edition. The new 2026 Feybound supplement, however, marks one of the first Pathfinder 2E books specifically focused on the First World.

When will Pathfinder Feybound be released?
The book will be released in print and PDF on November 4, 2026, at which point it should be available at most major online and physical retailers. The pocket edition will be released several months later on March 3, 2027.
Notably, if you are a member of the Pathfinder Subscriptions program you will receive a copy of the book several weeks early.

Final thoughts
The First World has been an important part of Pathfinder for decades, but hasn’t really been explored in any recent PF2E supplements. That’s finally changing with Feybound. Whether or not players will be willing to take another trip to Golarion’s First Draft, however, remains to be seen.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on this and other upcoming Pathfinder books in the weeks ahead and will be doing a complete review closer to launch. In the meantime, you can pre-order it now from your local game store, Paizo and Amazon.
