It will consist of 13 live shows that run throughout 2026, with tickets available now via the Glass Cannon website.
So just what can fans expect in this latest live take on cosmic horror? Below, we summon the Old Ones and break out of all the eldritch details.

What is the new “Call of Cthulhu Live” show about?
Call of Cthulhu Live is a new actual play show from the Glass Cannon Network that uses Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu 7th edition rules. The series, however, will all be set in the modern era, rather than the 1920s, which is typically the base time period for the game. Cthulhu Live will also not be a single ongoing campaign, but rather will consist of 13 standalone episodes, each of which features a different cast of characters and a complete storyline.
Glass Cannon Network founder Troy Lavallee will take on the role of the series’ Keeper and will joined by a rotating cast of regulars and special guests. The lineup includes Joe O’Brien, Skid Maher, Matthew Capodicasa, Jared Logan, Ross Bryant, Rob Kerkovich, Sydney Amanuel, Noura Ibrahim, Mary Lou, Seth Skorkowsky and Paul Deming. Chaosium Executive Producer Brian Holland will also be playing in the series.

What is The Glass Cannon Network?
The Glass Cannon Network is an entertainment company specializing in actual plays for the tabletop RPG industry. It first launched in 2015 as the Glass Cannon Podcast, running a campaign for the Pathfinder 1e Giantslayer Adventure Path. The show quickly grew in popularity, thanks to its blend of humor, storytelling and high production values, and later expanded into several live tours and spinoff series featuring a variety of tabletop RPGs, including Pathfinder Second Edition, Call of Cthulhu and Starfinder.
In 2020, the team behind the original podcast officially launched the The Glass Cannon Network, a full-scale production company that includes multiple weekly shows, a Patreon-style subscription service, partnerships with major RPG publishers and a rotating cast of players and GMs. More recently, the team has expanded into other game systems, including a new Shadowdark actual play that premiered in October 2025.

Final thoughts
It’s worth noting that The Glass Cannon Network has run some previous Call of Cthulu actual plays before, including their Time for Chaos campaign, which ran for several years before wrapping in the summer of 2025. Call of Cthulhu Live, however, feels like the next major step for the network, the game and the actual play scene as a whole.
