Dust off your old MMORPG accounts, because The Guild is officially coming back. Geek icon Felicia Day has just launched a new crowdfunding campaign entitled The Guild: Ren Faire’d. The primary goal of the project is to produce a full-length movie that brings the cast of the iconic internet web series back together for the first time in over a decade. At the same time, the Kickstarter also features a number of other tie-in products, including a brand-new tabletop RPG supplement for D&D 5.5E, which is being developed by series star Vince Caso and published by Hit Point Press.

What is The Guild?
The Guild is a popular comedy web series focused on the lives of an awkward group of online gamers playing a World of Warcraft-style MMORPG while trying to balance their virtual lives with real-world chaos. The show’s primary focus is on Codex (the Guild’s leader, played by Felicia Day) along with her guildmates, Zaboo (a socially awkward, hardcore gamer played by Sandeep Parikh), Tink (an apathetic gamer girl played by Amy Okuda), Bladezz (a surly teen played by Vincent Caso), Clara (a neglectful, stay-at-home mom played by Robin Thorsen) and Vork (a middle-aged misanthrope played by Jeff Lewis).
First launched in 2007, the ENNIE and Streamy Award-winning show ran for six seasons and 70 episodes and was considered a beacon of nerd culture long before actual-play streams like Critical Role were established. What is The Guild TTRPG about?
The Guild tabletop RPG is a supplement compatible with D&D 5.5E. It’s officially entitled the Dragonor Campaign Setting, and is written by cast member Vince Caso, with additional contributions from Felicia Day and other members of the series.
It will include new monsters, items, spells, backgrounds, subclasses and adventures. It will also feature the humor the series is known for, with everything from carnivorous outhouses to the dreaded Cheesybeard the Pirate.
Who is Hit Point Press?
Hit Point Press is a Canadian tabletop publishing studio based in Ottawa, Ontario, which has produced a range of TTRPG products including the illustrated version of the The Deck of Many Things, the popular Humblewood D&D 5e campaign setting (which is one of the few third-party products to land on Wizards of the Coast’s D&D Beyond platform) and the recent ENNIE-nominated Field Guide to Floral Dragons.
